Jan Marcason
Executive Director

John was named Executive Director of MAAC in October 2006. John has over 12 years of experience in the nonprofit sector with community based agencies involved with low income and underserved populations. His experience includes six years in community based health clinics in Missouri, Kansas and Illinois including two and one-half years as an agency Executive Director. Most recently, John has worked for a local community social services agency in the greater Kansas City area involved in welfare to work, before and after school child care, child care provider training, health issues, and other youth, senior and family issues. John has an MBA in Management/Finance from the University of Santa Clara in Santa Clara, CA
 


Estelle Banks

Community Outreach and MAACLink Training Coordinator

Estelle promotes information sharing and the use of MAACLink through monthly Cluster Group meetings of social service agencies in various neighborhoods throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. She also trains each new MAACLink user and provides refresher sessions for intake personnel. Estelle came to MAAC in April 1994.
 


Tonya Smith
Receptionist

Tonya joined MAAC in December 2005, she has several years experience in the Kansas City area as a receptionist, typist, and other general office functions. She is a good match for MAAC and is very helpful in keeping the office running at full speed.
 


David Johnson
Chief Financial Officer, Utility Fund Manager

David is MAAC's Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he provides the fiscal management of the organization. As the Utility Fund Manager, David utilizes his accounting expertise to professionally manage the allocation, tracking, and evaluation of the seven MAAC-managed utility assistance funds. David joined the MAAC staff in December 1998.
 


Rick McKeever
MAACLink PC Support Specialist

Rick is responsible for maintaining the hardware and software on personal computers in the MAAC offices and on the personal computers at the sites of agencies that participate in the MAACLink computer network. He sets up new agency users and provides on-going technical support to the MAACLink partners. Rick began at MAAC in December 2002.
 


Shelly Hartman
Homeless Case Management Coordinator

Shelly joined MAAC in December 2006, she is an MSW most recently working as Victim Assistance Coordinator for Johnson County DA’s office. Shelly has a wealth of social service knowledge and has experience working with poor and homeless. Previous experience includes work at Crosslines in KC, KS and with City Union Mission.  
 


Anne Roberts
Development/ Communications Manager

Anne joined MAAC in March 2007 as the Development/Communications Manager. She is responsible for development activities and marketing for the agency. Anne has worked in non-profits in the Kansas City area, including Camp Fire USA, Heart of America United Way, and the Youth Volunteer Corps of America in many roles. She has a degree in education.
 


Spephanie Pruitt
MAACLink Database Administrator

Stephanie is the MAACLink Database Administrator.  Stephanie is responsible for MAACLink implementations, database issues and administrative training for all MAACLink users.  She is a graduate of Rockhurst University and previous experience includes work for Sprint and IBM.

 


Linda Bichage
MAACLink Database Manager

Linda is a MAACLink Database Manager.  Linda is responsible for assisting with MAACLink implementations, database issues, and training for all MAACLink users.  Linda is a graduate of University of Missouri – Kansas City with a double major in IT and Business Administration.
