Our Role
Mid America
Assistance Coalition's (MAAC) role is to make a complex social
service system as efficient and accessible as possible.
MAAC is grateful to the hundreds of service providers whose cooperation
makes this system of caring possible. MAAC will continue to apply
creative ideas and technology to find solutions to community needs.
Our Mission
To strengthen
the ability of social service agencies to serve their constituents
through information systems, training, and advocacy.
Our Organization
Mid America
Assistance Coalition, a non-profit corporation, is a national
model for effective coordination of emergency assistance organizations
and homeless service providers. Through a cooperative effort, agencies
work together to provide the most effective help possible and to stretch
the limited available resources. MAAC's role in assuring the efficient
and accountable use of assistance money is increasingly essential.
